Valli Sue (Nee: Yeagle) Weghorst, 72 years old, resident of Stout, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday August 18th,2024 at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on November 12th,1951. The daughter of the late Raymond and Cleo (Nee: Salisbury) Yeagle. Valli was a member of the Upper Blue Creek Tabernacle Church in Stout, Ohio. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her late husband Roger H. McCoy, Aunt Helen (Dutch) Lewis, one son Roger McCoy, two grandsons Roger McCoy Jr, and Nicholas McCoy, a daughter-in-law Misty McCoy and her dogs Bruiser and Rowdy.

Valli was a 1970 graduate of Valley High School in Lucasville, Ohio. Shortly after graduating, she started working at Marting's in Portsmouth, Ohio. After leaving Marting's, she spent time with her daughter at Mary's Jewelry and Mary's Spirit Shop. She loved babysitting her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She started showing horses when she was a child and continued for many years winning several trophies and ribbons on her favorite horse Smokie. She loved all animals, especially all the dogs she had throughout the years. To Know Valli was to love her. She had the biggest heart and always had a smile on her face. She was so kind and so generous. 

She loved her family with her whole heart. Left here to cherish her memory is her husband Larry Weghorst, whom she married on December 29th,2007; one daughter Mary (Jeff) Felty of South Portsmouth, KY, five sons: Rick (Bobbi) McCoy of Lucasville, OH, Brian (Gwen) McCoy of South Shore, KY, Richard (Carma Shelton) McCoy of Otway, OH, Roger (Jodie) Weghorst of Lucasville, OH, Brandon Weghorst of Wheelersburg, OH, a daughter-in-law Trena Culp of West Portsmouth, OH; Grandchildren: Jennifer Spriggs, Dylan Felty, Kennedy McCoy, Ricky McCoy, Joe McCoy, Dalton Wright, Molly Meeker, Meriah Euton and Levi Weghorst; Great-Grandchildren, Emma Spriggs, Lexi Spriggs, Kayte Felty, Chandler McCoy, Austin McCoy, Melody McCoy, Adrianna McCoy, Elexis McCoy, Ben Meeker, Ken Meeker, Nathan McCoy, Trenton McCoy; and her lifelong friend, Sharon Kidwell, along with her dogs Buddy, Holly and Bouncer.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life, will be held on Saturday September 14th, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at Upper Blue Creek Tabernacle Church, 5836 Blue Creek Road, Stout, Ohio 45684.at 3:00pm. Valli will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
