Tim Morath, 63 years old, resident of Indian Mound, Tennessee, formerly longtime resident of West Chester, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away on December 7, 2023. He was born on June 30, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the Late Lawrence "Bud" and the late Maxine (Nee Jones) Morath.

Tim was a 1979 Lakota High School graduate and proudly served our country as a United States Marine Veteran. For several decades, he served loyally as a valued employee at Goodyear Tire Manufacturer, where his expertise and dedication were greatly appreciated. He also served for many years as a Union Township Fireman, as well as worked on the Morath Family farm. After he retired from Goodyear, he then worked for many years as an independent contractor for many firms around the Cincinnati area. Tim will be fondly remembered for his strong work ethic and his vibrant personality. He never knew a stranger. His legacy will live on through the memories.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, camping. Known to many as Mountain Man, he loved the Tennessee Mountains were he spent the last decade of his life. He enjoyed doing farm work and spending time on his tractor.

He is survived by his four loving and devoted sons: Joshua Morath of Franklin, Ohio; Andy (Diana) Morath of Virginia Beach, VA; Nick (Abbey Messerschmitt) Morath of West Chester; Chris (Mandy) Morath of Wilmington, partner/wife; Vickie Sue Ross of Indian Mound, TN, grandchildren: Audrina Morath, Milenia (Davon Pitt) Mendez, Ryan, Maevry and Rylee Morath, Hanna and Huxton Watkins, and one great grand daughter, Rainn Leilani Pitt, siblings: Annette (Jerry) Lipsky, Bill (Barb) Morath, Jane (Paul) Brackney, Doug (Debbie) Morath, Larry (Jennifer) Morath, Pam (Jim) Saylor, many nieces, nephews and friends.

A gathering to celebrate Tim's life will be held on Sunday, December 17th, 2023, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040.

Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects.

Burial with Military Honors will be held on Monday, December 18th, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428.

Although Timothy has departed from this world, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Tim Morath. May you find eternal peace and happiness.
