Thelma Faye Carroll, age 66, of Lucasville, died peacefully in her sleep on December 15, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on August 30, 1957 to Wilbur and Christie (Hartsell) Bowles.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, four brothers, and a sister. She is survived by seven brothers; Robert (Debbie) Bowles of Lucasville, Gary Bowles of Gibsonton FL, Joesph (Effie) Bowles of Ruskin FL, Wilbur Jr (Bettie) Bowles of Lucasville, David Bowles of Davison MI, Charles (Darlene) Bowles of Senecaville OH, Stewart (Sandra) Bowles of Silvania AL; one sister Donna (Carl) Helton of Lucasville; along with many nieces and nephews.

Thelma worked at Gahm's Market for 15 years before her retirement. She loved fishing, watching football and baseball, and spending time with friends and family. She will be greatly missed by many.
