In the early hours of Monday May 6, 2024, at SOMC, Terry Lee Murphy, 66 years old, of Stout, went to be with the Lord.

Terry was a retired Teamster whom spent most of his early years as an owner-operator driver.

He was married to his loving wife Joyce Murphy for 41 years. Most of those years were spent in Stout, OH, along the Ohio River where they resided.

Terry's favorite past time was boating with his family and friends. He went boating every chance he got.

He loved being a grandfather to his three grandsons. They called him "Papaw" and he enjoyed spoiling them. Terry was a genuine and selfless man; loved by so many family and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his father Carol Lee Murphy, Mother Alley Salsbury, and very recently, his son Bobby Ledford of Lucasville.

Terry is survived by his wife, Joyce Murphy, daughter Natalie Snead Murphy and son Corey Murphy, all of Stout, three grandsons: Gage and Chase Snead and Easton Murphy, five sisters: Delores Mathews of Jasper, Brenda Spires of West Union, Juanita Murphy of Mansfield, Goldie "Bea" McNutt of West Portsmouth, and Stephanie Fields of Lucasville, and one brother, Vernon Murphy of Salyersville, KY.

Terry will live on through his children and grandchildren as he rests eternally in Heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
