Sue (Nee Lykins) Smith, 75 years old, longtime resident of Portsmouth, passed away Tuesday, August 1st, 2023. .

She was born October 24, 1947 in South Webster, Ohio to the Late Cortis Edward and Nona Jean (Nee Beesler) Lykins.

She was a 1965 graduate of South Webster High School and retired after 30 years of service as an Administrative Assistant, from Tanner, Stone & Company Architects. Sue attended The Way Church in Minford, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her two brothers, Jon Kent and Infant Jay Kevin Lykins.

Sue and Stephen were married 53 years until his death on June 1, 2022.

Surviving are one son and daughter in law, Trevor and Kari Smith of Portsmouth, one daughter and son in law, Erin and Rob Willard of Wheelersburg, one granddaughter Rylie Smith of Portsmouth, two cousins (like sisters), Nita Roark and Carla Lower both of South Webster, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be on Friday, August 4th, 2023, 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

Service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM, all at FC Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, OH 45662. Pastor Andy Day officiating.
