It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Roth, who left us peacefully on December 25, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on January 22, 1944, in Portsmouth, OH, to the late Carl and Dorothy (Nee Heath) Roth. Sharon lived her life with a warmth and grace that touched everyone she met.

Sharon dedicated herself to her work as an event planner at Shawnee Lodge, where she brought countless gatherings and celebrations to life with her meticulous attention to detail and infectious joy. Outside of work, Sharon was an avid book reader, finding solace and inspiration in the pages of her beloved novels. She was also a cherished member of the Portsmouth Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, where she took great joy in sharing God's word with her community.

A lover of animals, Sharon had a special place in her heart for horses and cats, often expressing her fondness for their gentle nature and loving companionship.

Surviving Sharon is Patricia Ann Skaggs of Portsmouth, OH who was like a sister to Sharon and made sure she was always taken care of; and cousin Robin Cline of Melbourne, KY.

Preceding Sharon Roth in death is one brother, David Roth, one sister, Roberta "Birdie" Roth, two aunts: Virginia Rose Early and Jewell Wall.

Memorial Service for Sharon Roth will be held on January 11, 2025, at Portsmouth Kingdom Hall at 2:00 pm with Scott Literal officiating. Cremation will follow at FC Daehler Mortuary Co in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Sharon's gentle soul and loving spirit will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
