Samuel Richard Craft, age 61, of Portsmouth died peacefully at his home on December 24, 2023. Sam was born on April 27, 1962 to the late Jasper Denver Craft and Margarett (Johnson) Craft in Portsmouth.

He was a 1980 graduate of Anna High School in Anna, OH. Sam was self employed as a handyman "jack of all trades" and was beloved by many. He loved collecting various objects and attending the annual Craft family reunion.

He is survived by 3 sisters - Mary "Margaret" Williams (Larry) of Ontario Ohio, Judy Longmire (Raymond) of Sidney Ohio, and Cathy Craft also of Sidney; and 2 brothers - Paul David Craft of Jackson Center Ohio and John Craft (Betty) of Commerce Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his long time friends and "adopted" parents Hugh and Betty Boggs of Portsmouth.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sister Tammy Craft, sisters Paulett "Polly" Craft and Anna Campbell and his brothers Joe, Bill, Charles and infant brother Jasper.

A private family interment of Sam's cremated remains will take place in the future.
