Ruth Jacqueline "Jackie" Coriell, 80, resident, passed away on February 15, 2024 at her residence.

Jackie was born on July 4, 1943 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Olga and Hazel (Nee Kimbler) Coriell. She was a graduate of East High School class of 1961, National Honor Society and attended the Portsmouth branch of Ohio University.

She was employed by the City Council of Portsmouth, Ohio in the position of City Clerk for many years. Her other employment was with CIT Financial Services as customer services manager, secretary to the manager of Midland Grocery and costing coordinator with Williams Manufacturing Company.
