Rowena (Nee Crabtree) Neal, 65 years old, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her devoted family on June 3, 2023, in Lucasville, OH.

Rowena was born to John Lee Crabtree and Mary (Nee: Shreck) in Columbus, but raised by Mother and Troy Laney in Beaver, Ohio.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Donald Neal, where they shared their home and raised their family in Lucasville. Together they had two sons and daughter-in-laws, James M. and Angela Neal of Lucasville, Donald R. and Amy Neal of Wheelersburg, one daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and (Jon "Jay" Vastine) Arnett of Wheelersburg, one brother, Troy I. Laney of Waverly, five sisters, Garnet (Walter) Dyke, Jr. of Beaver, Troyetta (Jeffrey Jackson) Laney of Beaver, Eunoka Laney of Waverly, Janet Crabtree of Waverly and Susan Crabtree of Texas, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Rowena was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Richard Crabtree, one sister Rita Sturgen and one grandson, Jeremy Neal.

Rowena thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, riding motorcyles, baking, reading and going shopping. She was a member of Christian Biblical Church of God.

A private Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at her favorite camping site.
