Rhonda (Nee: Musser) Sparks, 62, of New Boston, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at her home. She was born on June 9, 1961, at Portsmouth, to the late Richard L. & Virginia Jarvis Musser.

Rhonda worked at Walmart for 14 years. She enjoyed nature, kayaking, concerts, sunsets, her cats as well as spending time with family and friends. She had compassion for all living things, and was a loyal and supportive friend and sister.

Surviving are her brother, Richard Mark Musser and his wife, Vicki Maynard Musser, aunts, uncles and many cousins as well as special friends, Cheryl Salyers-Carpenter, Jeff Carpenter, Lisa Crawford, Kendra Hannah and her Walmart family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 5 PM, at the Shawnee State Park's Mackletree Shelter, Mackletree Road, West Portsmouth.

A potluck dinner will be offered.
