POLLITT
Peggy Ann Neu Pollitt, 70, of Sciotoville, dearly beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away Thursday, July 1, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus following surgery. She was born January 18, 1951, in Portsmouth, to Edward F. Neu and Marie Sturgill Neu.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was proceeded in death by her husband, John Pollitt, and a brother, Kenneth Neu. She is survived by two children, Amanda (Rod) Sparks and Chris (Stephanie) Neu, step-daughter Jessica Pollitt, grandchildren Colten Sparks, Olivia Neu, Layla Neu, Jase Neu, and Daisy Hudson, a sister, Lois Fenton, a sister-in-law, Pam Neu of Crossville, TN, and many cousins, family and friends.
Peggy was a graduate of Minford High School and Shawnee State University. Retired from SOMC as a Pediatric Nurse after 20+ years of service. She was also a member of the Joseph Spencer Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
Peggy will be lovingly remembered for her huge personality, her big heart, her love of music and her loyalty to those she loved.
There will be a gathering for friends and family to call at F.C. Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, Friday, July 9, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
