Pauline Rayburn, a compassionate and radiant soul, gracefully bid farewell to this earthly realm on January 13, 2024, at the age of 69. Surrounded by love, she embraced her eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love.
Born on October 5, 1954, in Huntington, WV, Pauline was a beacon of light from an early age. Her effervescent spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. As a dedicated mother, Pauline showered her daughter, Sara Roberts, with unconditional love and guided her along life's journey. Devoted to her family, she found joy in the presence of her son, Jason Pelfrey, and cherished their cherished moments together.
Pauline's radiant smile illuminated the lives of her siblings: Roger and James Wallace, Debbie Rodgers, Barbara Tomblin, and Nora McElhaney, each of whom she loved dearly. She found solace in their unwavering support and embraced a bond nurtured by shared memories and unbreakable bonds.
Her cherished role as a grandmother brought immense joy to Pauline's life. Elise and Kasey Roberts, along with Macey Pelfrey, were the recipients of her boundless love and affection. Their laughter and happiness filled her heart with immeasurable pride and contentment. Holding dear the newest generation, Pauline thrilled at the arrival of her great-granddaughter, Amelia Ruggles, delighting in the circle of life that sustained her spirit.
In the embrace of their love, Pauline was rejoined with her mother, Betty, and stepfather, Frank Wallace, who preceded her in death. She was also greeted by her brothers, Phillip and Mike Wallace, and her sister, Trish, as they reunited in a heavenly embrace.
In reverence of Pauline's final wishes, cremation will be the chosen disposition. Her ashes will find eternal peace at a location in West Virginia that held meaning and beauty to her.
Pauline Rayburn's luminous spirit will forever illuminate our hearts. Let us remember her as a ray of sunshine, spreading warmth and love to all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Pauline's honor to a charity of your choice, as a testament to her generous and giving nature.
As we say goodbye to this incredible soul, let us cherish the memories and lessons she bestowed upon us. May her spirit live on in our hearts forever, guiding us with her gentle touch.
