Paul McClurg

Paul "David" McClurg, 70 years old, went home to be with the Lord, with his wife by his side, on October 7, 2022. David enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog MiMi. He enjoyed fellowshiping with his friends and his retirement to the fullest. David retired from the City of Portsmouth after 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruth (Nee Williams) McClurg.

David is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy (Nee Hamm) McClurg of Portsmouth, two children: Philip (Katrina) McClurg of Portsmouth and Julie Burgett of Wheeelersburg, three grandchildren: Breanna (Kris) Gerkitz of NC, Matthew Burgett of Portsmouth, Nathan Skeans of NC, one sister Kathy Galford of FL, and one brother, Richard (Debbie) McClurg of Franklin Furnace.

Per David's wishes there will be no services.
