Michael Leroy McCormick, "Dirty Mike" of Lucasville, Ohio left on April 18, 2021, for his next adventure. He was an avid traveler who rode the rails and walked the highways of America, seeing places we could only imagine. He loved to hunt, fish, and enjoyed the outdoors. He had a life long love affair with Mary Jane. He loved his music and lived every Lynyrd Skynyrd Song. Nine years ago, on his travels he came across a pup and named him Bojangles, little did he know they would save each other.
He was born June 20th, 1955. Mike attended Valley High School.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Michele Murphy, brother, Jack (Teresa) McCormick of Columbus, sister, Vickie (James) Risner of Youngstown.
Mike was survived by a daughter, Rachel (Daniel) Day of McDermott, Bojangles "Bo" of Lucasville, sister Rebecca (Dave) Wooten of Lucasville, two grandchildren, Haley Day and Caleb Day of McDermott, one great grandson, Roman Howard "Little Man" of McDermott, nieces, Serena (Becky Risner), Charlotte (Ian) Pertuset, nephews, Joey (Nicole) Risner, Jack McCormick, and Michael McCormick.
There will be a Memorial Bonfire May 1st, 2021, at 35 Linwood Ave. Lucasville, OH.
Family at 5:00 PM.
Friends at 6:00 PM.
