Lena "Tess" Katherine Hornikel

Lena "Tess" Hornikel, 76 years old, beloved wife and Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on March 24, 2021, after battling a long struggle with lung cancer. Lena was born January 19, 1945 in Franklin Furnace, OH to Stanley and Edna (Nee: Madden) Holloway. Lena was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Brian Davis, one sister, Roberta Maynard, and one granddaughter, Kaitlynn Hosey. Lena is survived by her loving husband of more than 30 years, Dale Hornikel, of Rosemount, daughters, Sheryl and Tim Hines of Rosemount and Lori Powell of Lucasville, sons, Jerry Davis of West Portsmouth, Jeff Davis of Portsmouth and Luke Zaph of Portsmouth, step daughter, Tracy and Brian Hoffman of Louisville, OH, ten grandchildren: Ryan and Kristen Hines of Rosemount, Brandi Davis of FL, Brett and Ashley Powell of Lucasville, Brook Meenach of Worthland, KY, Hilary Davis of Columbus, Jonathan Taylor of North Canton, Jeremy Hosey of Ravenna, Layne Zaph of Midway, KY, one brother Stanley and Myrna Holloway and eight great grandchildren.
