Kevin W.W. Johnson at 75 years of age of Portsmouth Ohio passed away peacefully on October 7, 2023.

Kevin was born on May 22, 1948, in Fairmont, West Virginia (Marion County) to parents Warren Wade Wadsworth and Gloria Jean (Mcclung) Wadsworth. He was married in Key West Florida to his husband Paul Eugene Johnson on January 1, 1988, until Paul's passing on 3/20/2009.

Kevin graduated with a B.A. in Communication from the University of Central Florida in Orlando Florida and his career was full of many successful achievements.

Kevin was the Portsmouth City Councilman, 1st Ward (2010-2018); Co-owner of The Emporium at Portsmouth Antique Mall (Portsmouth OH); Vice President-Administrative Services of the First Nationwide Bank (San Francisco, CA); Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, member board of directors, Pinnacle Courseware, Inc. (San Jose, CA); Assistant Vice President - Telecommunications Administration, Crocker National bank (San Francisco, CA); Director of Governmental Affairs, San Francisco chamber of commerce; Founder and co-owner Gallery Gloria Jean (El Dorado and San Francisco); Administrative assistant to the mayor and council-City of Orlando Florida; Executive assistant to Edward J. Gurney (R-FL) United States Senate (Tallahassee, FL); Chapter Services Director, Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity (Indianapolis , IN); and a member of the United States Marine Corps.

Kevin is survived by his brother Kenric Shawn Wadsworth of Fairmont WV and his sister Kandice Nuzum of Fairmont WV, several nieces and nephews, Banjo (his beloved dog) and by numerous friends and admirers.

Anyone who knew Kevin was touched by his kindness, humor, and generosity. He loved his friends, his dog Banjo, fine wines, and good conversation but his final wish was he wanted it to be known that his life was made whole by Paul Eugene Johnson, and he dedicated all that he had and all that he was and all that he enjoyed to Paul, the love of his life.

Kevin requested no services and in lieu of flowers requested donations to be made to the Main Street Portsmouth's Paul E. Johnson Memorial fund.
