Kenny E. Tackett was born at home May 4th, 1951. He was a 1969 Northwest High School graduate. Kenny was employed by M & J Welding for many years as a supervisor.

Kenny was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved hunting with his boys, family and friends. He coach for little league for Northwest for eighteen years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Marie (Nee Smith) Tackett of Lucasville, a brother Perry Smith of Portsmouth, sister Mary Spencer of McDermott and Son in law Chris Ward of Lucasville.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-four years, Zella (Nee Spencer) Tackett of Lucasville, four sons: Mickey (Heather) Tackett of Piketon, JD (Delia) Tackett of Minford, Aaron Tackett of Lucasville, Jackie (Amanda) Tackett of Portsmouth, one daughter, Deanita Ward of Lucasville, nineteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two brothers Danny Smith of Piketon and Jack Jennings of Wheelersburg, one sister Betty Jo Smith of Minford.
