Karen L. Porter, 58 years old, Portsmouth resident, unexpectedly passed away on 
February 20, 2023. 
Karen was born in Portsmouth on May 17, 1964, to James Taylor and Sadie Jean Bach. She was a 1982 graduate of Northwest High School. Karen was a loving Mother and Grandmother, and a Cancer Survivor. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sadie, and two brothers, James and Jeff Bach. 

She is survived by her loving son and soon to be daughter-in-law, Ian Porter and Lacie Crabtree of Mc Dermott, seven grandchildren: Daron Oakes, Aidan Caldwell, Lauren Caldwell, Ian Porter, II, Paxton Porter, Natalie Brown, and Carly Porter; one brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Sheryl Bach, two sisters and brother-in-laws: Dianna and Randall Wolfe and Donna and Charley Conschfsky, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Viewing will be on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 2:00-3:00 PM at FC Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, OH 45662.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to FC Daehler Mortuary or directly to her son Ian for help with final expenses.
