Josephine Mays

Josephine Mays, 79 years old, of Piketon, OH, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at her home. She was born January 12, 1943, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late William and Sarah Smith. She is preceded in by her parents, two children, Rosie Mays and William "Billy" McKinney, Jr., and three sisters: Lula Stone, Hattie Johnson, Mary Ellen Gilbert.

She is survived by four children: Paul (Charlene) McKinney, Reva (Carlos) Scott, Linda (Kenneth) Foster, Elizabeth (Ray) Stapleton, and her extra daughter, Mary (Michael) Osborne and her fur baby BoBo; sixteen grandchildren: Paul McKinney Jr., Bretton McKinney, Shannon Hall, Thomas Richards, David Smith, Tara (Tim) Wilson, Carlos (Christina) Scott, Samantha Scott, Jessica (Jammie) Shepherd, Carla Scott, Rebecca Hall, Ostan Foster, Joseph Hunt, Jr., Emily Hunt, Ted Hunt, Zack Stapleton and 15 great grandchildren.

Josephine loved to sew and work jigsaw puzzles. She was a very loving, caring and selfless woman. Her family was the light of her life.

Josephine was loved and will be missed.
