Johnna Lisa Thacker, 60, of West Union, Ohio passed away Saturday September 14, 2024, in Hospice Care of Portsmouth, Ohio. Lisa was born July 10, 1964, in Adams County, Ohio to the late John H. and Lovena J. (Bradford) Thacker.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, son Scott Meeker, brother Michael Thacker and nephew Jeremy Thacker.

Lisa is survived by sons Derek Thacker of West Union, Ohio and Heath Volk of Portsmouth, Ohio. Grandchildren, Blake, Katelyn and Daxtyn. Sisters, Elana Elkins of Peebles, Ohio, Bryanna Thacker of Georgetown, Ky. and Cheria Thacker (Ginger Bayless) of West Union, Ohio. Lisa also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lisa devoted her life to caring for others through her work as a Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide.

Lisa grew up in the Baptist faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Manchester, Ohio. Lisa was very artistic who had a passion for painting and drawing. Lisa inherited her creative ability from her mother and has passed it on to her children and grandchildren.

Lisa was a free spirit who loved life, traveling, all things nature and a good laugh.

Lisa will be cremated. A memorial gathering will be scheduled at the family's convenience.
