John Milton Whitt, Sr., 62 years old, longtime Lucasville resident, passed away on July 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Nola (Nee Kazee) Whitt, Jr.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Edna "Eddie Sue" (Nee Holt) Whitt, also of Lucasville, two loving children, John Whitt, Jr. of Athens, and Shannon (Edward) Broughton of New Boston, one sister, Marlena (Brian) Brumfield of South Salem, four grandchildren: C.J. Whitt, Tammi Moore, Alexandria Whitt, and Jada Broughton, and three great grandchildren, Zayden Hodge, Memphis Whitt and Salem Hall.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, all at FC Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
