Jeffrey Dale Blevings

Jeffrey Dale Blevings, age 60, West Portsmouth resident, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Jeff was a 1979 graduate of Portsmouth High School and a 1994 graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College. Jeff was a Veteran of the United States Air Force with 20 years of service. Jeff was a Telecommunications and Network Manager for Shawnee State University for the last 20 years. He enjoyed boating and spending time with his family. He was an avid fan of the Wheelersburg Pirates, while his children participated and afterwards. Jeff was a member of Dry Run Church of Christ, West Portsmouth. Jeff was born to Yvonne (Nee Literal) Bowman and the late Harry F. Blevings, in Portsmouth 1961. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Becky (Nee Kuhn) Blevings, one son and daughter-in-law Kyle and Sarah Blevings, of Waverly, one daughter Kaylee Blevings, of Hilliard, beloved Papaw to Bo and Olivia Blevings, two sisters, Linda (Dave) Lindamood, Karen Atkins, one brother, Robert Blevings and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 11th, 5 pm - 7 pm at F.C. Daehler Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday May 12th, 11 - 12 Noon with a Service immediately following all at F.C. Daehler Mortuary. Interment will follow in Scioto Burial Park, will Military Honors American Legion Post#363. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Jeff's memory to the Wheelersburg Baseball Program, 800 Pirate Drive, Wheelersburg, OH 45694, Attention: Derek Moore Baseball Coach. F.C.
