We are saddened to announce the passing of James Horner of Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Cleveland, OH on November 11, 1960, to Robert K. and Viola Jane Horner. James enjoyed vegetable gardening, watching westerns, working on cars, and repairing and collecting clocks. He went home to be with our Lord on April 18, 2024.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia (Nee Carter) Horner of Portsmouth; three children: Christopher S. Horner of Arizona, James R. Horner of Portsmouth, and Nettie L. Horner of South Shore, KY; three grandsons and two granddaughters; two : sisters: Deborah Bentley of Garrison, KY and Pamela Morgan of Mt. Sterling, OH.

James was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Robert K. Horner, and one sister Brenda L. Cochran.

A private service to honor James' life will be conducted at the family's convenience.
