It is with great sadness, Jacqueline (Jackie) Lynn Turner, 61, a lifelong resident of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, March 12,2023 at SOMC Hospice with her family by her side. Jackie was born September 15,1961 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Donald L Turner and Janet B Turner (Dunaway).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald L Turner, sister Dottie Sue Turner, son Frank L Turner, and granddaughter Jacey L Knapp.

Jackie was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She loved cats, old horror movies, and her family most of all. She grew up in West Portsmouth and attended Nauvoo, then moved to Portsmouth in her teens and attended Portsmouth High. She also attended Daymar College and completed her Medical Administrative certificate.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Janet L Turner (Columbus), Amanda D Turner (Portsmouth),7 grandchildren, James R Knapp Jr. (Erica) of Columbus, Jasmine M Knapp (Jamar) of Columbus, Jaret L Knapp of Columbus, Kimberley N Jones of Portsmouth, MaKenna S Turner of Portsmouth, David LaVell Smith of Portsmouth, and Damon L Smith of Portsmouth. 7 great grandchildren, Isaiah R Dixon of Columbus, Ariyanna G Dixon-Knapp of Columbus, Jamar A Mobley Jr of Columbus, Jersiee A Mobley of Columbus, Layla L Knapp of Columbus, James R Knapp lll of Columbus, and Kailani S Knapp of Columbus. Nephew Patrick Lao (Jola) of Cerritos, California, and great-nephew Joshua D Lao of Cerritos, California.

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to F. C. Daehler Mortuary Funeral Home.
