Indiraben Shah, 85 years of age, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on

April 2, 2022. Indiraben was born in Gujarat, India to Chimanlal and Mahalaxmi (Ben) Shah on December 13, 1936.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking and watching the Indian channels. She never gave up, always determined and independent. She was the keeper of dates, always remembering someone's birthday or special day and calling them to send well wishes.

Indiraben was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of thirty-seven years, when he passed away in 1990, Kanubhai Shah, two brothers: Parimal and Ashok Shah.

She is survived by her loving family, three sons and daughter-in-laws: Sunil and Ila Shah of Portsmouth, OH, Jayesh and Anjana Shah of Corona, CA, Samir and Avani Shah of Tustin, CA and one daughter and son-in-law, Ami and Yogesh Kumar Shah of Anaheim, CA, four grandchildren: Komal & Karatavya Kumar Thakkar, Neel, Khusi and Mulik, and one great grandson, Max Thakkar.

Service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at F.C. Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, OH 45662.
