It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Finess "Rick" Boggs, age 79, who peacefully left us on January 29, 2025. Born on August 20, 1945, in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was the cherished son of Finess R. and Mildred J. (Nee: Lawson) Boggs.

Rick lived a full life, marked by his dedication to his craft as a self-employed electrician and his passion for building model planes. He often found joy in the great outdoors, whether he was tending to his beloved garden or simply enjoying the beauty of nature. Above all, Rick loved spending time with his family and friends, cherishing the special moments they shared.

He is lovingly remembered by his longtime girlfriend, Barbara J. Neville, who stood by his side for twenty-one beautiful years. Surviving family members include his son Ricky Boggs of Lucasville, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, Step daughter Teresa and stepson-in-law John McCoy of Sciotoville, his dear aunt Juanita of Wheelersburg, along with numerous cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Jeanette C. Boggs.

To honor his life and memory, a celebration of Rick's life will be held at a future date, with a gathering of friends. Details will be shared shortly, and everyone who knew him is warmly invited to join in remembrance of a man who brought joy to so many.

Rick will be cremated, but his spirit and love for those he left behind will forever remain in our hearts. We encourage all who knew him to share their stories and memories, keeping his legacy alive in our lives.

Rest in peace, Rick. You will be missed more than words can say.
