Douglas James "DJ" Bedsole, a vibrant soul known for his love of the outdoors and his gigantic heart, passed away with his loving family by his side. He was born to Kelly Nicodemus and Douglas Bedsole and grew up alongside his siblings Russell, Joy, Katelyn, and Ryan Nicodemus.

DJ was a true outdoorsman. He found peace and excitement in camping, hunting, fishing, and especially in riding bulls-a passion that exemplified his daring spirit. His love for music was exemplified by his talent for it, often lighting up gatherings with his voice, belting out his favorite country tunes.

Those who knew DJ appreciated his resilience and protective nature, traits that defined much of his journey through life. Though he faced challenges, he always led with love rather than force. His intelligence and eagerness to help others shone through in everything he did, from simple acts of kindness to significant gestures of support.

Above all, DJ cherished time with his loved ones, particularly his daughter, Haley, who was the light of his life. His ability to bring laughter and positivity to any situation was unparalleled, making every moment with him memorable.

DJ is survived by his parents, Douglas Bedsole and Kelly Nicodemus of South Lebanon, daughter, Haley Bedsole of Athens, brothers: Ryan (Mariah Schneeberger) Nicodemus of Montana, Russell Bedsole of South Lebanon, sisters: Katelyn (Katelynn Strickland) Bedsole of Lexington, KY and Joy (Tomas "Tomato") Dominguez of Cincinnati, grandmother, Joy Gray of Maineville, Aunts: Debbie (Bill) Cook of Oregon, Denia (Greg) Gigliotti of Minnesota, Tonya (Cary Jackson) Leist of Milford, and Uncle Jimmy Gray of Maineville.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Douglas and Delma Bedsole, James Gray, and aunt and uncle, Debbie (Michael) Vukelich.

DJ's legacy is one of live, love, laughter, and the courage to be oneself in all of life's adventures. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Thank you for all the love you brought to our lives, DJ.
