Donald Potter, a beloved member of the Otway community, passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 84. Donald was born on September 18, 1940, and was known for his passion for the outdoors, particularly his love for fishing and hunting. He was a familiar face in the community, always willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and friends.

He was a dedicated member of the Oswego Community Church in Otway, Ohio, where he found solace and comfort in his faith. Donald's warm and kind-hearted nature endeared him to many, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Don is preceded in death by his father, Roney Potter, and his mother and step father, Corda May (Nee Barger) and J.C. Rose, his brother Ronald Potter, and sister Catherine Miller and his beloved wife, Judith Potter.

He is survived by his children: Jody (Jason) Seibold and Peggy Hoffman both of Springfield, OH, Donnie (Barb) Potter of South Charleston, OH, sisters: Dorothy (Kenneth) Mullenax of Orwell, OH and Ruby Franceis Beuoy of Newlawn, OH, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and his caring friends/neighbors, Paul and Marsha Montavon of Otway, and his loving Oswego Community Church family. They will cherish the memories of their time spent together, sharing in Donald's love for the outdoors and his unwavering faith.

A service to honor and remember Don's life will be held at the Oswego Community Church, 2923 Tick Ridge Koenig Road Otway, Ohio 45657 on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Pastor Dan Powell will be officiating.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire others for years to come. May he rest in peace.
