Christopher Vernon Wright "Chris", was born on April 23, 1982, and lost his long battle with addiction on December 22, 2023, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH.

He is survived by his loving mother, Joni (Nee Jenkins) Harr, sister Curry Wright Gilliland (Levi), niece, Kaylynn Nunley and nephew, Levi Gilliland, grandmother, Patricia Kline, three aunts: Luanne Day, Regina Hamm and Dreama Holbrook, one uncle, Jack Wright, two great nieces, two great nephews, many beloved cousins and special friends, including his childhood friend Wylie Binns who always supported and encouraged him.

Preceding him in death were his father, Vernon Wright, Jr., grandmother Patricia Risner, grandfather Ralph Jenkins, aunt, Kelli Montgomery and uncle, Larry Wright.

Despite his struggles in life, Chris always had a smile and a positive attitude. He was kind, loving and caring, in spite of his problems. Chris was also and organ donor and was able to give the greatest gift of life as his last act of love.
