Cheryl "Diane" Nolan, 73 years old, of New Boston, passed away Thursday February 20, 2025 at SOMC hospice in Portsmouth, OH.

She was born March 20, 1951 to the late Samuel and Mary (Nee Jones) Williams in New Boston. Diane has lived her whole life as a New Boston Native. Diane's house was always full of love, laughter, and family. She loved a good cup of coffee. She enjoyed sewing, finding a good rock, and looking for UFOS.

If you were fortunate enough to be in her presence, you already know how much her light truly shined. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and her special companion, Blondie.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Harold Chaney, second husband, Joseph Nolan, her loving daughter Anita Chaney and grandson Nathanial Smith, as well as her siblings Jerry, David, and Pamela Williams.

She is survived by children: Adam and Amber Chaney, Casey (Liza) Nolan, Tyler (Samantha) Nolan, Brent (Janie) Nolan, Heather (Ken) Garrison and Stephanie (Mark) Best, as well as her siblings: Kristie (Dwane) Mullins, Jayne (Gary) Stone,

John (Creshanna) Williams, Andy (Monica) Williams, Steven (Jill) Williams, and Brenda Estes. She leaves behind her life-long friend Anita Wadkins and her best friend and McDonald's buddy Zander Ash, and ten grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from

1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at FC Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, Ohio, 45662.
