Charlotte Rochelle Johnson

Charlotte Johnson, 83, beloved Sister and Aunt, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 1, 2021. She entered this world on December 28, 1937 in Portsmouth, Ohio, born to the late Morris and Ella Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Franklin (Frieda) Johnson, She is survived by her brother, Ronald Johnson (Sharon) of Florida, Nieces: Sherry (Duane) Middleton, of Portsmouth, Carolyn (Jay) Woodard of Florida, Ronda Beaty (Adam) of Tipp City, and Linda Prather (Darek) of Kentucky. Also Great nephews, Brandon (Leah) Woodard, Matthew Blair and Great nieces Megan Beaty, Madison Beaty. Charlotte was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and a retired Columbia Gas employee and a valued member of the Apostolic Brethren Church, West Portsmouth Charlotte loved to go to church and enjoyed playing the piano and singing gospel music. She was always busy with church events, teaching Bible Study and working on Bible questions. She loved talking to people about Jesus and was a dedicated and faithful servant. She loved her nieces and nephews and would do anything to see them happy. Charlotte will be remembered by her family and friends for her faithful trust in the Lord, her quiet, gentle nature, her sweet smile, her devotion to Jesus Christ and her family. The family will have Graveside Services on Saturday March 6th at 11am, held at Scioto Burial Park, 4757 McDermott Pond Creek Road, McDermott, OH 45652.
