It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, daughter, aunt and friend, Bobbi Sue Richards, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 41.

Bobbi or "Red" as she was fondly known as, was born on May 21, 1982, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Robert Franklin and Mary Ellen (Nee Jones) Richards. She grew up in Portsmouth alongside her siblings and graduated from Portsmouth High School.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Nancy Bays, and her mother Mary (Nee Jones) Richards, one sister Terina Barney and one brother Winfred Fugate.

Bobbi was a loving person and was always willing to lend a helping hand and listening ear. Her warm personality, infectious smile and generous heart made her a favorite among others who knew her. She had a passion for God which she shared with anyone who walked her path.

Despite facing many challenges in her life, Bobbi remained resilient and persevered through it all. She was a fighter until the end and her unwavering faith in God was an inspiration to us all.

Bobbi is survived by her father, Rober Franklin Richards, her siblings: Ernest Fugate, Regina Rowland and Sabrena Wood, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her life will be celebrated in a private family service. We will miss her dearly, but take comfort in the fact she is now in a better place, free from pain and suffering. May her soul rest in peace.
