Betty J. McClave, 96 years old, Portsmouth/Hillview Retirement Center resident, passed away peacefully on February 13th, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald McClave, and brother, William Patrick, who resided in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Betty Jean, was a graduate of Portsmouth East. She and her husband were members of Temple Baptist Church. Betty was a full time Homemaker and a past employee of the Kopy Kat store previously located on Chillicothe St.

Betty was survived by one son, Mark McClave of Summerville, SC, one daughter, Lisa Wiltshire of Columbus, OH, three grandchildren: Emily (Ashley) Leake of Akron, OH, Travis (Carly) Wiltshire of Plain City, OH and Tyler (Letitia) Wiltshire of Cincinnati, OH, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 12:00PM (NOON), all at

FC Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, OH, 45662.
